As a therapist, one of my main priorities is to strengthen your ability to make healthy decisions and become an autonomous individual.

The relationship that develops between therapist and client is of paramount importance for change. To build a healthy therapeutic relationship based on empathy, mutual respect, and acceptance, I work relationally with clients – allowing both myself and the client to be in an equal position of power to make decisions.

Through my education and experience in the field of therapy, I have worked with diverse client groups facing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, developmental trauma, generational trauma, panic attacks, stress, relationship difficulties, loss, bereavement, and self-esteem issues.

“On the other side of a storm is the strength that comes from having navigated through it. Raise your sail and begin.”
Gregory S. Williams

In my sessions, I aim to be creative in my approach; I use metaphors and imagination to explore presenting issues and difficulties whether it is short-term solution focused or longer-term psychotherapy. I use Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) skills to work with trauma when the individual ready to process their trauma.

My primary work from a relational perspective using TA puts emphasis on the in-depth exploration of unconscious dynamics both out there in the world and in the sessions between us – this enables deeper processes for change to take place. The aim of our work together is to develop the full capacity for autonomy which will allow you to deal with the events life throws at you; I aim to help you live a better, more fulfilled life.
